Leading Change is a new FINSIA event, discussing the role of financial industry leaders in encouraging gender and ethnic diversity within the industry. For this important initiative, they wanted to capture the atmosphere of the crowd to grow the event.

Facilitated by FINSIA Vice President Victoria Weekes, the members of the panel told of their experiences in the industry and challenges they faced. Executive Images was used to capture this new event in the hopes of expand it into a Sydney Signature Event.

Each member had vast experiences spanning many years in this area. In particular Pip Marlow drew contrasts with her experience as a Managing Director at Microsoft and how the IT industry differed from the finance industry. Catherine Fox had many stories to share, as the author of the book “Stop Fixing Women.”

In this first year, the event was held in Sydney at Dockside, overlooking Darling Harbour. There were about 200 guests from across the industry, and major supporters of diversity and equality.

It was an informative session, but it was important to show the lively discussion and delegates enjoying their time. These are the images that will set the tone for future events and attract company sponsorship.
