Stand Out from the Crowd with Business Action/Lifestyle Photography

It’s the age of small and medium enterprise. People are flocking to their local small business, and while it’s an opportunity, it’s also a rush to polish your branding. One of the easiest ways to stand out is to remove stock photos and replace them with professional lifestyle photography.

At a growing and dynamic IT company, we planned a day with headshots and some Business Action Photography. We had some great ideas planned with the art director, and and were looking forward to putting it all together.

Then on the day, it turned out all the staff wanted to be involved! People were coming in from remote offices and client sites to be part of the face of the company.

It’s fantastic when every staff is treated as a valuable member worthy of a professional headshot. When you have lots of staff, sometimes the temptation is to do the bare minimum, and end up with 50 mugshots. Of course this would not help show the spirit of the company.

We spend time with each person, learning about their roles and what they loved about the company. Each position may have a different quality they want to show with their headshots, for example some positions are more formal, while others are more friendly. Each photograph followed the company brand, but also showed unique personalities.

Throughout the session, we heard how everyone loved their time at the company, and it’s really a testament to the culture they have created.

We got fantastic feedback from these clients. The staff mentioned how relaxed they felt, and it was an enjoyable experience even for some who were usually camera shy.
